MZP Low Visibility Wire Obstacle (also called inconspicuous obstacle, MZP wire, tangle wire, or Putanka) is a low-visibility, three-dimensional wire barrier made of thin steel wire (diameter 0.4–0.9 mm) and is nearly invisible on the ground . It is designed to impede movement, hinder the advance and maneuver of intruders (e.g., border violators, tanks, or armored vehicles), and provide favorable conditions for border forces to detain them .
